Our feet work hard day in, day out. We expect them to keep up with our busy lives: sport, work as well as fun. Life’s activities can take a toll on our feet, and sometimes we need to stop and give them a “tune-up” and, why not, a bit of pampering.
General podiatry is a term that describes this “tune-up” for the feet. Bio Podiatry podiatrists take the time to assess the foot and see what needs attention. Typically, a general podiatry appointment involves trimming, filing and tidying up nails, and trimming any corns, callus or cracked heels that may have built up over time.
Lotions and creams may be utilised to help soothe and heal particular conditions such as tinea or to just soften hard skin. Advice regarding how to keep the feet looking and feeling their best is always given by our podiatrists.
All instruments used by Bio Podiatry podiatrists are sterilised, and rebates apply to our general podiatry appointments.
